William C. Moritis, Jr.

William “Bill” C. Moritis Jr., of Watertown, passed away peacefully at his home on March 20, 2024. Formerly of Waterbury, he was the loving son of Mary (McDonald) and William Moritis Sr. He attended St. Mary’s grammar school and graduated Crosby High School Class of 1971. Bill started his own painting and restoration business, More Decor. He was an active member of the AOH Club, the Ancient Order of Hibernians, achieving the Society of Tara Court. Bill enjoyed gardening, billiards, and fishing. He was predeceased by his parents and his only sibling, Barbara Hinkley.

Arrangements: A visitation will be held for Bill on Friday, April 12, 2024 from 5-6:30pm at Prospect Memorial Funeral Home/The Palmerie Family Funeral Home, 122 Waterbury Rd., Prospect, CT 06712, followed by a Celebration of Life service.
