It is with heartfelt sorrow we share the passing of William (Bill) Demac.
Bill passed away at his home with his wife and her two sons right by his side. Bill was born in New Rochelle New York 11/10/1967. He bravely faced pancreatic cancer for the past six months, but ultimately lost the battle on December 8, 2025.
Bill was a master glazier by trade but also enjoyed working on cars and woodworking projects. He enjoyed taking his three beloved rescue dogs , Buddy, Sage and Little-One, for car rides in the evening. Among his greatest joys though, Was having visits with his daughter and his two beautiful granddaughters. Bill also loved spending time with his soulmate, whom he was able to marry just weeks before his passing. They shared a love of weekend trips, shows, concerts and of God. Attending church together every Sunday was a source of peace and joy for Bill.
Bill was a genuine and dependable friend through life's trials and triumphs. He held tightly to the friendships that meant the most to him, some since the age of 3. Bill's heart was as large as his presence and his soul as gentle as a lamb.
Left to mourn this unique and cherished individual are his beloved wife, Deb Proe and her two sons, Joshua and Gilbert Godbout, his daughter Danielle Demac and his granddaughters Kailyn and Kailee Demac, of Vermont, loving siblings, John Demac, of Massachusetts, Robert Demac of New Hampshire and Maryann Demac of Virginia, as well as many nieces and nephews and lifelong friends. Bill's memorial gathering will be held at the Watertown United Methodist Church, December 21 at 11:30 AM with a celebration of life- luncheon immediately following in the church hall. All flowers should be delivered directly to the church.
