Wayne R. Thornley

Wayne R. Thornley, 67, of Norwalk, passed away March 5, 2024. He was born April 12, 1956, a son to the late Ronald and Joan Thornley.

Wayne was a caring and gentle soul. He was a Revolutionary War buff and participated in his high school’s reenactment club; he enjoyed taking the roll of the British side as his family came from England. He also enjoyed collecting a variety of items, model trains were his favorite. Animals loved Wayne and he absolutely adored them. After working at a dog day care in Stamford for many years, Wayne opened his own dog day care called Doggie Daze Day Care, also in Stamford.  

Wayne is survived by his brother-in-law Neil Walsh. He is predeceased by his parents and his sister Wendy Thornley.
