Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister

Vicki Shea, 71, of Prospect entered into heavenly rest while enfolded in the love of her family at Waterbury Hospital on Sunday, June 29, 2025. She was the wife and best friend of Thomas Shea for almost fifty years.  Born March 31, 1954 in York, Pa. a daughter of the late Harold Williams and Nancy (Glosser) Williams.  Family was the center of Vicki’s life, her heart and soul.  Besides her husband Tom, she leaves her son Brian (Kim) Williams of Waterbury and her daughters Terri Shea of Naugatuck and Kelly Shea of Prospect.  She also leaves her brothers Jeff (Shari) Williams of NJ, Randy Williams of Tenn. and Richard (Deirdre) Williams of Waterbury.  She will be forever loved by her adoring grandchildren Nicholas Williams, Cassidy Williams and Kaileigh Neyra as well as several nieces and nephews. Vicki will be missed by her brothers and sister in laws and her close knit Irish clan of family members.  She joins her grandson John Johnson and sister Tammy Williams in heavenly rest.

Vicki was the calming presence and comforting hands that provided healing care as a PCA for her patients at Waterbury Hospital for over 30 years. Hardworking, dedicated and focused; she was a valued member of the healthcare team.  After retirement, Vicki had more time to enjoy relaxing with her dog Luna and traveling to Cape Cod, RI and the trip of her life time to Ireland.  She was a marvelous baker, gracing her family and friends with delicious cookies and cakes. Tom and Vicki grew up together, were married for 49 years and exemplified the values of love and devotion for their children and grandchildren.  Wife, Mom, Nana sister, friend- Vicki was so loved by all those blessed to have her in their lives. 

Arrangements:  Visitation will be Wednesday, July 9, 2025 from 5pm to 7pm at Prospect Memorial/ The Palmerie Family Funeral Home, 122 Waterbury Rd., Prospect.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, July 10, 2025 at 10 am at the funeral home.  Interment will immediately follow at All Saints Cemetery, Waterbury.  Prospect Memorial/ The Palmerie Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements and to care for the Shea family throughout their grief journey. Please leave your condolences, memories, and words of comfort for her family on her Tribute Wall on this page.
