Ursula Anne Ryan (Renshaw) passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on March 28, 2026. She was 92 years old. She was the beloved wife of the late William Paul Ryan III. She was born in Kingston, PA on July 24, 1933; the youngest of six children to Peter and Anna Renshaw.
Ursula and Bill married in 1952 at the ages of 18 and 20 and eventually settled in Bethany, CT where they resided for 48 years and raised seven children.
Ursula was foremost a mother and homemaker. She was an excellent cook and always kept a beautiful home. She enjoyed knitting, quilting and rug hooking. She was an avid reader and collector of old books. She loved to listen to classical music and she played the piano.
Ursula will be missed and remembered by her children- Denise Canestri, Anne Ryan, Patrice Carroll, William Ryan, Michael Ryan, and Steven Ryan. She will also live on in her 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents and her daughter, Colleen Miklinevich.
