Tammy Lynn Crosby, 55, of Waterbury passed away unexpectedly on May 4, 2026. She was the beloved wife and soulmate of Mark Crosby for over 20 years and cherished mother to her daughter Hannah Crosby and daughters- by- love Brittany Mitchell (Daniel) of Thomaston and Ashley Mathieu (Connor) of Watertown and son by love Matthew Crosby of Derby. Tammy was adored by all who were blessed to know her, her characteristic joyful laugh filled the room.
Family was the very center of Tammy’s life. Nothing brought her more joy than being a mother. Tammy was like a mother to all the kids; her honesty and calm guidance was comforting to all who knew her. Generous and altruistic, Tammy would give you the shirt off her back.
Before retiring, Tammy was the floral department manager for Stop and Shop of Connecticut. From store to store, she was well respected and appreciated by management and her employees. Her talent with flowers was evident with each bouquet and countless wedding flowers that she created for her family’s special occasions.
