Roger M. Watson

Roger M. Watson, 73, of Naugatuck, passed away January 28, 2025. Roger was born May 11, 1951 in Port Jefferson, NY to the late Paul and Helen Watson.

Roger is survived by his wife Shirley Watson, his sons Melvin Watson and Michael Watson, his daughters Helen Cherry and her husband Aric, and Leah Watson, his brother Paul Watson Jr. and his wife Marie, his sisters: Daphyne Watson, Gwen Watson-Sims and her husband Bob, and Kim Stevens, his grandchildren: Layshona, Dellon, Devron, Shawn, Malakhai, and Omari, his nieces and nephews: Geneva James, Sophonya Simpson-Adams and her husband Lamont, Timothy Simpson, Paul Watson III and his wife Danielle, Kienda Sims, Amina Sims, Julian Sims, and Ebony Pannell, and his great nieces and nephews: Genequa and her husband Riley, Lationa and her fiancé Michael, Aysia and her fiancé Jonah, Chris Jr., Paul IV, Maya, Quinton, Jelani, Zaria, Kamari, Spring, and A’siah James.

Roger is predeceased by his parents Paul and Helen, his sister Gail Simpson, his brothers Kevin and Keith Watson, and his nephew Ulysses Watson.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Monday, February 10, 2025 from 4-6pm at Prospect Memorial/The Palmerie Family Funeral Home, 122 Waterbury Rd., Prospect, CT 06712. A Service Talk will begin at 4:30pm.
