Robert L. St. Hilaire, Sr.

Robert Louis St. Hilaire Sr., 88, of Waterbury passed on to be with the Lord on November 20, 2025.  He was the father of: Joanne Loving of Waterbury with whom he made his home, Debbie St. Hilaire of Fla. and sons Robert Jr of Thomaston, Kenneth of Torrington, Mark of Waterbury and Grandson John of Waterbury.  Bob will be missed by his brothers and sisters: Donna Miklazina (John) of
Wolcott, Sandra Grechika (Jimmy) of Watertown, Valerie Cardinale of NC, Kathy Jeruis of Bristol and Frank Germinaro of Fla.  He also leaves his 17 cherished grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and a multitude of nieces, nephews and cousins.  Bob is predeceased by his son Richard and brothers Gene and Richard St. Hilaire.

Born June 26, 1937 at home in Oakville, Bob was a son of the late Bradford and Florence (Pike) St. Hilaire.  After high school, Bob married the love of his life, the late Phyllis DeLong.  Together they raised their family in Waterbury.  He was a hard-working dedicated husband and father. The ultimate joy of his life was spent with family.  Holiday get togethers, meals shared and time spent in lively conversation with family and friends brought Bob immeasurable joy.
