Robert J. McCarthy

Robert J. McCarthy, 77, of Wallingford passed away at his home on January 24, 2024.  Bob was born March 21, 1946, a son of the late Dennis and Henrietta (Hill) McCarthy. He graduated from Kaynor Tech, working most of his life as an electrician, retiring from the Cheshire Public Schools System as the director of maintenance.

Bob is survived by his beloved daughters Kimberly and her husband Richard Stewart Jr. of Prospect and Kelley and her husband Jason Croteau of Canterbury as well as his former wife Dianne McCarthy of Prospect.  Bob also leaves his cherished grandchildren Alyssa, Jacqulyn, Aidan, Alexah, Ashton, Alivia and Alleigh.

Friends and family are invited to visit with Bob’s family on Thursday, February 8, 2023 from 5 pm to 6pm followed by a celebration of life service at 6pm at Prospect Memorial/ The Palmerie Family Funeral Home,122 Waterbury Rd., Prospect.  You are invited  to share your words of comfort and support for Bob's family on this website on Bob' Tribute Wall.
