Robert F. Fisher

Robert F. Fisher, 62, of Terryville, CT passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 30th 2026 surrounded by his family.

Mr. Fisher was born in Waterbury, CT on March 8th 1964 to the late Robert Leonard Fisher and Shirliean Mildred (Gandy) Fisher. He grew up in Waterbury, CT and eventually lived with his family in Terryville, CT. He worked as a maintenance technician for many years. He was married to Susan (Wheeler) Fisher in 1997.

Mr. Fisher is survived by his wife Susan and two children, Jennifer and Michael of Terryville, CT; his two sisters, Lynn Fisher of AL, and Karen Tucker of Waterbury, CT; and his six nieces and nephews Steven, Joseph, Melissa, Kayla, Hayley, and Maya; and extended family.  His family was dear to him.

He was a man with a tough exterior; he faced life’s challenges with strength and determination. Beneath that rugged surface he was a deeply caring soul whose greatest pride and joy was his family in addition to his golden retrievers. Those fortunate to know him understood that behind his strength was a heart full of compassion and unconditional love. He will be forever remembered and cherished through these special memories by all who knew him.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
