Richard Lee Stallings Jr. Born August 20, 1963 passed away Sunday, August 11, 2024

Richard loved being around his family. He loved to make people laugh. Richard loved music; one of his favorite songs “I Wanna Be Rich” by Calloway. He loved helping in the community and anybody he knew needing help. He could fix anything; a true jack of all trades. He enjoyed reading his Bible, mythological, and theological books. Richard loved playing chess with his son and friends. He was a man of style. No matter what the occasion from church to everyday casual, Richard always looked his best. Sneakers were his favorite.
Richard is predeceased by his parents Elder Richard Lee Stallings Sr. and Lois Stallings, his paternal grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Lester Stallings, his maternal grandparents Mr. & Mrs. McCoy Riddick, he’s also predeceased by his nephew Randy Antonio Kee Jr.

Richard leaves behind to cherish his memory his son Richard Lee Stallings lll, his granddaughter Syleah Richaya D’Aja  Stallings, his sisters Evelyn Stallings, Karen P. Kee (Randy A. Kee Sr.) Dana R. Stallings-Martinez (Jorge Martinez) Richayla L. Stallings, his nephews James, Michael (Danielle), Bryan, and Christopher his only 2 nieces , Tenika, and Krista, one great niece Nyla, 5 great nephews Jakar, Michael, Josiah, Jairus, and Matthias 2 stepbrothers Jaime Moore, and Ricardo Gonsalves a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.

Visitation and a service of remembrance will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2024 at Prospect Memorial/The Palmerie Family Funeral Home,122 Waterbury Rd., Prospect.  Friends and family are invited to share time with Richard’s family from 5:3pm to 7:00pm followed by the Memorial services from 7pm to 7:30pm.  Prospect Memorial/ The Palmerie Family Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the Stallings family throughout their grief journey.
