Richard Allan Byrd Obituary
Richard Allan Byrd 70 passed away unexpectedly on December 10, 2024 at his home. Mr Byrd was born on April 4, 1954 in Waterbury CT. The son of the late Ulysses and Beulah (Sears) Byrd. Richard is survived by three sisters, Thalia Byrd-Warden of Waterbury, CT, Brenda Byrd-Butler of Bloomfield, CT, Gail Byrd-Fox (Carlton) of Bristol, CT, two brothers, Lloyd Peter (Lucinda) Byrd of Waterbury, CT, Daniel Byrd of Norwich, CT, Several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters, Joyce (Byrd) Britt, Audrey (Byrd) Hoffler, five brothers, Harwood, Ulysses Jr, Odess, Arthur, and Rodney Byrd. Richard was a lifelong resident of Waterbury and attended Walsh Elementary School, Kennedy High School, and Paier College of Art and was a member of Grace Baptist Church. Richard was beloved by his family and friends and a blessing to many and will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
