Pllumb D. Bojka, aged 79, from Cheshire, passed away peacefully at his home in the presence of his loving family on Saturday, June 1, 2024. He is survived by his beloved wife, Violetta (Licolli) Bojka, his daughters Sylvia, Tatiana, and Diana, his son, Luan Bojka, and his grandchildren, Darius M. Fuentes, Isaiah M. Fuentes, and Aidan J. Torres. He is also survived by his brothers Sami, Dylber, and Qani Bojka, as well as their families.
Pllumb was born on July 10, 1944, in Stravaj, Albania. He was the son of the late Dervish and Sherife (Bajramaj) Bojka. Pllumb was a hardworking and skilled carpenter. He served as the president of the Local 326 Connecticut Union of Carpenters, where he developed many long-lasting friendships and earned immense respect from all his union members. After retiring as a carpenter foreman for RJB Contracting in 2004, he enjoyed spending time with his loving wife, Violetta, grandchildren, and his nieces and nephews.
As a husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend, Pllumb held every member of his family close to his heart. His role as a patriarch was marked by honor, dedication, strength, and love, leaving a legacy for his family to cherish in the days ahead. He instilled in his family the importance of hard work, education, and devotion to family and friends. His absence will be deeply felt.
