Paul A. Nolan
August 27, 1951 – October 25, 2025
Paul A. Nolan, beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. He was 74 years old.
Born on August 27, 1951, Paul was the son of the late John and Catherine Nolan. From a young age, he carried with him a deep appreciation for life’s simple joys—music, laughter, and the company of family and friends.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 44 years, Barbara Nolan with whom he shared a lifetime of love, laughter, and adventure. Together they built a beautiful life and created countless memories, including their many international travels and cherished annual trips to Block Island—a family tradition Paul looked forward to every year.
He leaves behind his daughters Andrea (Dave) Molster of Oxford and Shawn (Brad) Pikas of Coventry, as well as his stepdaughter Stacey (Tom) Bova of Orange. Paul was a proud and loving grandfather to Nicholas, Taylor, and Jake Bova, and to Cayce, Maddie, and Annabelle Pikas, all of whom brought him endless joy and pride. He is also survived by his sister Jane Hildebrandt of Milford, and by many nieces and nephews whom he held dear.
Throughout his long career in industrial sales, Paul was known for his integrity, work ethic, and ability to connect with people. He also proudly served his country as a member of the Connecticut National Guard. Beyond his work and service, Paul was an avid golfer and a lifelong music lover who found great joy in playing the guitar. Whether on the golf course, strumming a tune, or sharing a story around the dinner table, Paul’s warmth and sense of humor left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
Above all, Paul will be remembered for his deep love of family, his generous spirit, and his ability to make others feel seen, heard, and loved. His presence will be greatly missed, but his legacy of kindness, laughter, and love will live on through those who were fortunate enough to know him.
