Mary Ellen Franceschini

Mary Ellen Franceschini, 60, of Waterbury, passed away on Saturday, March 27, 2021.

She was born in Waterbury on April 5, 1960 daughter of the late Michael and Marjorie (Weymer) Franceschini. Prior to her illness, Mary Ellen worked for a variety of companies as a soldering technician. She liked going to the casino. Mary Ellen enjoyed spending time with coworkers and always had a good laugh with them. She enjoyed music, especially Phil Collins. Time spent with family was precious especially her sisters and her son.

Mary Ellen is survived by a son Keith Franceschini, two sisters Linda Cronin and her husband Dennis and Deborah Schweizer and her very close friend Tracey McCarthy all of Waterbury, along with many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was predeceased by a sister Karen Marie Franceschini

Calling hours will be held from 6-8 pm on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at the Prospect Memorial Funeral Home, 72 Waterbury Road, Prospect. The funeral and burial are private.
