Mary Catherine Zarrella

Mary Catherine (Iles) (Tuohy) Zarrella, 89, of Prospect, passed away on January 5, 2021 at the Southington Care Center. She was the wife of the late Robert Tuohy.

She was born on January 3, 1932 in Waterbury daughter of the late Edward and Mary (O’Donnell) Iles. Prior to her retirement, Mary worked for Airpax. She was a long time parishioner of St. Anthony Church and member of the Prospect Seniors.

Mary is survived by her children Susan (Terrance) McGill of Cheshire, Joanne (Peter) Brandien of Southington, Robert (Kathleen) Tuohy of Prospect and Michael (Robin) Tuohy of Prospect, five grandsons, four granddaughters, a great granddaughter, along with several nieces, and nephews.

A walk through calling hour will be held from 9:30- 10:30 am on Friday January 8, 2021 at the Prospect Memorial Funeral Home, 72 Waterbury Road, Prospect. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am on Friday, January 8, 2021 at St. Anthony Church, 4 Union City Road, Prospect. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury. All CDC and state guidelines will be adhered to.
