NOTE FROM SONS:
Our Father lived many lives in one, motor sports enthusiast, marching band veteran, proud member of the
United States Army Special Forces, a dedicated police officer, and die-hard punk rocker who never lost
his edge. He was hardheaded and hilarious, committed, and caring, worked tirelessly and loved deeply.
Like any father, to a kid we would probably be considered enemies. You annoyed us with your antics and
protected and challenged us, but as men you were our best friend, and we love you for that. We cry with
sorrow and gratitude. Gratitude for the years we were given. Gratitude for the lessons he taught us, and
gratitude for the earth he left imprinted, and we now stand tall as men today. Never Give up, Be Loud, Be
Yourself, and live your life.
A private celebration of life will be held by the family at a later date.
Please keep Marvin and his family in your thoughts and prayers and share your words of comfort on Marvin's tribute wall on this website.
