With love and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Marlene Joy Bozzuto. She was born on March 27th, 1969 and passed away May 13th, 2024.
Marlene came into this world a feisty little daddy’s girl with kinky curly hair and grew to be a beautiful hard-working woman. She was fearless and brave, a resilient strong-willed fighter who could defend herself in any situation. Her love for animals pushed her to advocate for animal safety while she cared for and spoiled her kittens. She had pure intentions, a genuine character, and a heart of gold. Her laugh was infectious, she was entertaining, and an absolute delight to converse with. Marlene was understanding, didn’t judge anyone, and saw the best in others. She was helpful, generous, and sparked joy in the lives of those around her. Marlene will be greatly missed.
Marlene is survived by her life partner, Patrick Sullivan, her father, John Michael Bozzuto III (Josephine), her brother, John Michael Bozzuto IV (Maribel), and her sisters, Norma Jean Nielsen (Kendall), Rosalina Barrett (Braden), and Kayleen Garcia (Armando), as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. She is predeceased by her mother, Lorraine Swenson, her sister, Corinna Bozzuto, and her grandparents, Angeline, and Dr. John Michael Bozzuto Jr.
