Leonard T. Russell III

Leonard Todd Russell III, affectionately known as Lenny, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at the age of 56. He is survived by his loving mother, Linda Woodward Russell; his father, Leonard T. Russell, Jr.; his brother, Jason Russell; his sisters, Meghan Russell and Kristine (Russell) Pierce; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Lenny was a proud graduate of Amity High School and spent most of his career working in the sheet metal and tree climbing industries. He will be forever remembered for his deep love of animals, his generous spirit, and the contagious laugh that brightened the lives of those around him.

Services will be held at Prospect Memorial/The Palmerie Family Funeral Home, 122 Waterbury Rd. in Prospect, Connecticut, on Saturday, October 26. Calling hours will take place from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., followed by a service from 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m.

Lenny’s family and friends will cherish the many wonderful memories of his life and his impact on all who knew him.
