Lenora Renee Lewis of Waterbury, known to everyone as Naughty, passed away peacefully June 19, 2024 after a long courageous battle with breast cancer.
Lenora’s greatest joys in life were reading her bible, attending church services, listening to Gospel Music or Janet Jackson songs, traveling, and her two cherished daughters, Naijah and Nylah. Her love for them knew no bounds, and she dedicated herself wholly to their well-being and happiness. She was their rock, their confidante, and their inspiration.
Known for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering spirit, Lenora touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She had a remarkable ability to lift the spirits of those around her with her infectious smile and positive outlook, even in the face of her terminal illness. Her strength and resilience were a testament to her character, and faith. She will be remembered for her boundless compassion and love.
Lenora is survived by her daughters, Nylah Lewis -Vidal of Waterbury and Naijah Lewis of Delvalle, Tx, who will forever hold her memory in their hearts. She also leaves behind her parents Willie Flowers and Rosalyn Lewis-Flowers, sisters Leslie Flowers, Asia Thompson, Sister-in-law Madeline Flowers, brothers Cornelius, Bryan, Reginald, and Darryl Flowers, Godfather Paul Beamon, maternal grandmothers Edris and Rose Lewis, paternal grandmother Renova Flowers, aunts, uncles, countless cousins, nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of friends who will miss her dearly.
The family extends their deepest gratitude to the medical staff and caregivers who provided Lenora with compassionate care throughout her illness.
A graveside service celebrating Lenora’s life will be held at 10 AM Thursday June 27, 2024, at New Pine Grove Cemetery 850 Meriden Road Waterbury, CT 06705.
Lenora's legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
