John H. Minicucci

John H. Minicucci, 82, of Waterbury, passed away January 23, 2025. He was born October 21, 1942 to the late Henry and Florence Minicucci. He was the beloved husband of Carol Minicucci of 43 years.

John worked as a maintainer for the Waterbury Board of Education for about 40 years. He enjoyed spending his days with Carol either taking trips hosted by the senior center, like the theater, or traveling by cruise to new destinations. John and Carol traveled to Bermuda, the Islands, and the Caribbean to name a few.

John leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife Carol, his sister Jeanne and her husband George O'Connor, and many nieces and nephews. John is predeceased by his sister Cornelia and her husband George Meehan. 

Family and friends are invited to gather Thursday, January 30, 2025 from 5-7pm at Prospect Memorial Funeral Home, 122 Waterbury Rd, Prospect, CT 06712. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025 at 10am at Prospect Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will immediately follow services at Calvary Cemetery, 2324 E Main St., Waterbury, CT 06705.
