Joan A. (Cappozzi) Koosa

Mrs. Joan A. Koosa, age 79, of Waterbury, CT died peacefully on September 9, 2025. She was the wife of Edward Koosa.

Mrs. Koosa was born in Enfield, CT. Joan worked for the Connecticut State Health Department Laboratory for 50 years. She was also a beautician and gave roller skating lessons at Roller Magic. Joan was an active member of the Brass Mill Mall walking club.

Besides a husband of 47 years, Joan leaves behind her siblings, Gail Hebert and the late Peter Cappozzi. She also leaves numerous nieces and nephews. Joan was a good friend and neighbor to everyone who knew her.

There will be no services. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
