Jeffre Joseph Rubelmann, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on October 16, 2024, at the age of 73. Born on September 10, 1951, Jeffre lived a life marked by love, dedication, and unwavering goodwill.
Jeffre is survived by his beloved wife of over 50 years, Pamela Rubelmann. He was the devoted father of Melissa, Jeffre "Jay," and Benjamin Rubelmann, and the proud "Pa" of Avery, Isabella, Matthew, and Nicholas Florio, and Samantha and Kayla Rubelmann. He is also survived by his father, Albert Rubelmann, his siblings Dawn Burdine, and Al and Dan Rubelmann, and his son-in-law Elan Segarra, who will forever hold him in their hearts. He is predeceased by his mother, Beverly Rubelmann.
Known as a Jack of All Trades, Jeffre was admired for his versatility and his ability to tackle any challenge with enthusiasm and skill. He had a deep love for John Wayne films and began each day with the familiar tunes of Elvis Presley, which brought him joy and comfort. For over twenty years, he was the beloved head of maintenance at Apple Rehab Shelton Lakes, and his coworkers there fondly remember him.
Jeffre’s warmth, kindness, and vibrant personality left a lasting impact on all who knew him. His presence will be profoundly missed, but his legacy of love and his joyful spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him.
A family gathering for a celebration of Jeffre’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the PAN Foundation in Jeffre’s memory.
