Janel Sahie Clark

Janel Sahie Clark, 45, of Waterbury, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 8, 2023. Janel was born in Waterbury on January 30, 1978, a son of the late Moses S. Clark and Marlene (Hewlett) Clark.

While growing up Janel enjoyed playing sports, especially basketball and football. As a young adult, he enjoyed his professional modeling career and his work as an interior decorator. He liked to dress nice and had an impressive collection of clothes and shoes.

Janel loved his family very much and enjoyed spending time with them. He especially enjoyed the time he spent with his younger cousins. He was a free spirit that truly believed in living his life to the fullest. He was a very nice person and never met a stranger.  He loved helping others and would help anyone in need. He valued people over material things and would give his last to help someone.

Janel leaves behind his children, who he loved very much; his two brothers and their wives: Moses and Darcia, and Marcus and Michele; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
