Jaie R Hill

Jaie R. Hill, 34, of Bethany entered into eternal life of Thursday, September 28, 2023.  Jaie was born May 13, 1989 in Bristol, a son of Sean Duplessis and April (Hill) Waterman McKinney.

Jaie loved music and attending concerts.  He was 12 years old when he and his Mom and stepfather took him to his first concert.  Jaie was an amazing gentleman with a huge heart. Jaie loved harder than most and left a lasting impression on everyone he knew. He had an insatiable need to help others, never feeling satisfied unless he knew the people closest to him were happy. Most of Jaie’s family and friends would encourage his laughter so its contagion could pass through an entire room. Jaie had a passion for the outdoors and fishing. He loved the sounds of silence and spent countless hours listening to God’s gifts while partaking in his hobby. The memories that he left us with will be told to future generations. He will be so missed by all his treasured family.

Left to cherish his love and memory are his mother April and stepdad Matthew McKinney of Naugatuck, sister Rachel Waterman (and Ray Le Clair), brother Logan McKinney, niece Evelyn, his father Sean Duplessis of Bristol and his three sisters (Kayla, Katelyn, and Kara).  He will be missed by his grandparents Gail and Franklin “Bob” Hill Jr., of Bethany, aunt and uncle Jean and John Oldham of Thomaston, as well as many other family members.

Visitation will be held on Friday October 6, 2023 from 4 pm to 7 pm with a Celebration of Life Service to immediately follow at Prospect Memorial/The Palmerie Family Funeral Home, 122 Waterbury Rd., Prospect.  You are invited to share a memory, photo or words of comfort for Jaie’s family on his Tribute Wall at www.prospectmemorial.com.
