Henry A. Boisvert III, 59, passed peacefully in the early hours on November 29th, 2025 with his close family by his side. He was born, raised, and continued to make his home in Prospect, CT. He valiantly fought a hard battle with brain cancer for 2 years and 9 months. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the entire Yale New Haven Hospital team who guided and cared for him throughout his treatment for Glioblastoma.
Hank was the most devoted dad. He is survived by his children, Martina Boisvert of Naugatuck and Tyler Boisvert of Prospect, as well as his beloved dog, Maisey. He was also excited to soon welcome Brandon Gabani to the family as a son-in-law. He was predeceased by his parents, Clara Anne Mitchell and Henry Boisvert Jr., as well as his brother, Raymond Boisvert, and many pets including Samantha, River, Jett, and Bandit.
Hank had a quiet strength and a generous heart. His resilience inspired everyone around him. He embodied a strong work ethic as a CDL truck driver and balanced those demanding hours with years spent installing flooring locally, which gave him the flexibility as a single dad to be present for his children as they grew up. To say he loved his family and baseball very much is an understatement. He never missed one of Tyler’s games and was always accompanied by Martina at his side. The days spent at the ball field remain among his family and friend's most treasured memories.
Hank found joy in the simple things that made life rich. He loved peaceful hikes where he could take in the beauty and healing energy of nature. He was a creative cook who enjoyed experimenting with new recipes, and he took great pride in tending his tomato garden. Forever a loyal fan of the Boston Red Sox and Dallas Cowboys. He enjoyed rocking out to heavy metal bands like Metallica or relaxing to country singers like Alan Jackson. Proudly, he held a deep passion for rescue dogs and the second chances they deserve.
Hank left a beautiful mark on this world and will not be forgotten.
A celebration of life may be held at a later date.
