Geraldo "Jujo" Rodriguez passed away unexpectedly on December 21, 22 at the age of 30 years old. Jujo was born in Waterbury on January 17, 1992 and from the moment he entered the world, he brought nothing but joy and laughter to everyone around him. He was generous with his love and time and was always fiercely protective of his beloved mother, sister, niece and 'sister cousins'. He adored his son Ace and 'brother cousins', and had an army of lifelong friends who grieve this loss heavily.
When Jujo walked into the room, the welcoming was electric. Everyone's heart and face lit up at the sight of him and his laugh was contagious. There is an energy about him that almost feels indescribable and remains as a sort of spiritual blanket comforting those who loved him in this lifetime. The trail of broken hearts left behind by his sudden passing is a testament to the extraordinary person he was. While hearts remain heavy and many are reeling from the shock of his passing, there is comfort in knowing he is resting and at peace with the Lord, reunited with his father whom he loved so very much. His time spent here on earth was full of goofy fun, so much love and the BEST memories because he was our sunshine.
Jujo / "Yuyi" is predeceased by his father, Robert "Bobby" Rodriguez and survived by; his mother, Celia "Chela" Villafane Rodriguez, sister Alexandra Rodriguez, brother Thomas Rodriguez, son Ace Rodriguez, niece Leah Walicki, uncle Carlos Rodriguez and “Titi” Iris Villafane. Jujo is also survived by his cousins: Genny Rodriguez Fonseca, Sadie Rodriguez, Joshua Rodriguez, Jessica Rodriguez and David Rodriguez as well as many uncles, aunts and other cousins and several dear friends. United, we will keep his memory alive. We love you forever, Jujo.
