Gary Christopher Dyer of Waterbury, born June 30, 1962, passed away suddenly on Friday, May 3, 2024 at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Gary leaves behind his beloved wife Eileen Dyer, their children: Joe Ballance and his wife Carly of Thomaston, Amy Ballance of Waterbury, Zachary Dyer of Waterbury, and Ashley Ryan and her husband Ken of Naugatuck. He also leaves behind his grandchildren: Ethan, Kylee, Cole, and Troy.

Gary graduated Crosby High School in 1980 and went on to serve in the United States Air Force.

Gary was a foodie to the core. He loved to cook as much as he loved to eat. He loved watching cooking shows unless of course his New York Giants were on tv. He loved football and making fantasy teams – he has the trophies to prove it. Gary enjoyed nothing more than a hot sunny day out in his garden. He will be missed tremendously not only by his family but by all of his friends that knew him to be the jokester.
