Fred Beaudoin Obituary

October 13, 1944 – May 1, 2025

Fred Beaudoin of Prospect, a devoted husband, father, brother and friend passed away surrounded by his loving family on May 1, 2025.  He was the loving husband of Jeanine (Binette) Beaudoin for 45 beautiful years.

Fred’s life was deeply rooted to family, friends and travel. His greatest joy was spending time with his family.  He enjoyed countless trips to Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire, visiting family in Florida, going to Dollywood in Tennessee, and walking on the beach in Ogunquit, Maine, creating lasting memories of laughter and love with his wife and children.

Fred retired from Pratt & Whitney North Haven after 35 years, and volunteered for many years at Limerock Park as a right-hand helper.  He was an avid race fan, venturing off to multiple racetracks with his son Scott and treasured road trips with his daughter Jolene, sometimes just for lunch in Vermont. Fred enjoyed quality time with his brother Tommy having coffee, talking about childhood memories, snowmobiling, racing and working on cars. They shared a strong and special bond. Fred looked forward each year to a hunting trip to Pennsylvania with his best friend Bob Korb as well as a yearly camping/fishing trip they planned. As his son got older, he went as well.

Fred’s passion was reading, gardening, working on cars, racing, camping, making puzzles, watching Westerns, listening to country music and seeking out new restaurants.

Fred’s legacy is one of love, generosity and a deep appreciation for life’s simple joys.  He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit lives on, in our hearts and memories and the many lives he touched through his kindness and service.

To honor Fred’s memory are his wife Jeanine (Binette) Beaudoin, his daughter Jolene Beaudoin and son Scott Beaudoin.  His brother Thomas and wife Leigh Beaudoin of Northfield, CT, his sister Carol and husband Frank Korowlotny of Conway, SC, and his sisters Pauline Pelton, Maryann Daddona, and Terri Brouillard.

Fred was predeceased by his first wife Cheryl and their seven children, Frederick, Sharon, Debra, Paul, Roderick, Holly and MaryLou.  He also joins his parents Paul and Marion (Murray) Beaudoin.

Burial will be private at a time and date determined by his family.  Prospect Memorial The Palmerie Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements and to care for the Beaudoin family throughout their grief journey.  Your words of love and comfort are greatly treasured and can be shared on Fred’s tribute wall on this website.
