Frances A. (Cerasale) Sugden

Frances A. Sugden, 95, of Waterbury, passed away on July 28, 2021 at Apple Rehab in Watertown.

She was born on March 20, 1926 in Meriden daughter of the late Ralph and Mary (Pesco) Cerasale. Prior to her retirement, Frances worked for Uniroyal for over 32 years. In her earlier years she loved to travel and play cards with her lady friends. Prior to merging with St. Bridget Church, Frances was a member of the Church of the Epiphany.

Frances is survived by a brother James Cerasale and wife Lorraine of Prospect along with several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her first husband Casmir Marciszonek and her second husband Raymond Sugden, two brothers Genrose and Leonard Cerasale and a sister Barbara Copolla.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 noon on Monday, August 9, 2021 at St. Bridget Church, 175 Main Street, Cheshire. Burial will follow at New St. Bridget Cemetery, Higgins Road, Cheshire. A calling hour will be held from 10-11 am at the Prospect Memorial Funeral Home, 72 Waterbury Rd., Prospect.
