Our beloved mother, grandmother, nonni, aunt, and friend went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, August 29, 2024. You will be missed and forever in our hearts!

Florine leaves behind to cherish her memory her children: Michael DeCorso and his wife Carole, Barbara Rompre and her husband George, Diane Devonshuk and her husband David, Susan Gibbons, and Marianne DeCorso, her grandchildren, her great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Florine is predeceased by her husband Carmen DeCorso, her grandson Jesse Bytautas and her son-in-law Brian Gibbons. She’s also predeceased by her brothers: Father Thomas Ritucci and John Ritucci and her sisters: Ann Durso, Josephine Spillane and Rose Pisani.  

Family and friends are invited to gather for Florine on Saturday, September 7, 2024 from 5-7pm at Prospect Memorial/The Palmerie Family Funeral Home, 122 Waterbury Rd., Prospect, CT 06712. A Celebration of Life will follow at 7pm. Prospect Memorial invites you to share your words of comfort for Florine’s family on her tribute wall at prospectmemorial.com.
