Edwin Mitchell Ocasio-Robinson

Edwin “Mitchell” Ocasio-Robinson, passed away unexpectedly on September 26th, 2023, in Derby CT. He was only 21 years old. Mitchell was born on November 6th, 2001. He graduated from Valley Regional Adult Education in 2021. He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing basketball, playing with his online games/friends, spending time with his dogs Zeek and Loki, traveling, and trying new things. He had goals, dreams and aspirations. He wanted to grow old, find what field he was passionate in, have a good career, get married, have kids. He wanted to live. His family is deeply saddened by his sudden death. 

Mitchell was predeceased by his great-grandparents Alfonso & Alyce Smith of Ansonia, CT and his uncle Ronald Smith of Ansonia, CT whom is survived by Debbie Smith.

He is survived by his mother Lorrinda Johnson and step-father Donald Johnson of Derby, CT. Grandmother Donna (Willie) Days of Waterbury, CT. Forever remembered by his sisters Charlyse (Jeremiah) Moses of Waterbury, CT and Amber Farquharson of Derby, CT. His niece Alana Moses and nephew Jeremiah Moses Jr.. Step-mother Theresa “Teye” Williams of New Haven. Brothers Dontrell and Dontae Johnson of New Haven, CT and Sincere Cobb of New Haven, CT. Along with his aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends all whom cared and loved him dearly.

Mitchell had an enormous heart and a wonderful sense of humor. He was generous, loyal, and honest. He will be remembered for all the heart he shared with his family and friends. He truly loved each of them.
