Edwin Gonzalez

Edwin Gonzalez, 51, of Waterbury, CT, joined our Lord in Heaven on March 3, 2025. Edwin originally
hailed from Humacao, Puerto Rico, and led a peaceful life in Waterbury for many years. A man of
strength and principle who would do whatever it takes for the ones he loved, Edwin enjoyed spending
time with his granddaughter Sofie, listening to a variety of music and working on his fitness when he
wasn’t working as a salesman or relaxing at home. 
        He is survived by his sons, Edwin V. Gonzalez and Jeremy Aponte as well as his daughter-in-law
Rebecca Gonzalez, of Waterbury, along with his precious grandchild Sofie Gonzalez, his ex-wife Lydia Colon and 9
brothers and sisters- Juan B. Santana, José Santana,  Miguel Santana, María D Santana, Rosa Santana,
Liza Santana, Diana Torres, Jonathan Lao and Liza Roldan. He joins his late parents Felipe Gonzalez and Maria Santos in the Kingdom of Heaven.

 Visitation will be held Thursday, March 13, 2025 from 5-6 p.m., followed by sharing memories of Edwin from 6-6:30 p.m.
