Dee. You cannot say her name or think of her without a smile.
She was a very accomplished individual. She held a degree in Electrical Engineering. She also received a Master’s Degree in computer science and excelled in the field.
She served her country in the Air Force as a navigator on a plane. She went on to be an instructor. In her professional realm, she had her own company, worked for Coleco, Black n’ Decker, and IBM as a senior project manager.
Her true passion was music. She was a gifted guitarist and could play several other instruments. She sang with an intense passion but always thought she was not good enough. She wrote music that spoke eloquently of her faith in Abba, Father God. Performing with the band Driving Reign was a highlight of her life. She also dedicated her time and soul to the praise band at Life Way Church and several other praise bands over the years.
She decided to work at Home Depot during retirement. She worked in the electrical department but also took the time to nurture and care for her fellow employees and customers. Her humility and genuine interest in others showed through each and every day.
She was the daughter of Ira and Stella Elloian. Her only sibling Peter passed before her. Dee entered heaven’s gates on March 23rd after brief intense illness. The illness took her body, but her soul will forever belong to Christ.
In honor of her memory and love, please do some random act of kindness for a stranger. Better yet, make it a daily occurrence!! For she did those kinds of things every day. From her hospital bed, she would pray and bless the staff of the hospital where she spent her final days. Those she left behind are left with the task of living life with the same integrity she exemplified each and every day. Dee, you will be deeply missed, but will always be in our hearts."
