David J. Martone

David J. Martone, 60, of Prospect, passed away peacefully on Friday September 27, 2024, after a brief illness.

David was born on July 5th, 1964, to Donald & Charlotte Martone of Prospect. He graduated from Crosby High school class of 1982. David played football and baseball for Crosby. He was all city and all NVL. He also played for the C.Y.O basketball team for St. Anthony’s winning the city, state, and New England Championships in 1981. David was an avid sports enthusiast. He loved the New York Yankees and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He loved spending time with his family.

He leaves behind a brother Donald T. Martone Jr. and his wife Melissa of Rocky Hill, a sister Marlene Rinaldi and her husband Ronald Rinaldi of Wolcott, a brother Mark Martone and his wife Stacy of Morris, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to visit with the Martone family on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, from 9 to 11am at Prospect Memorial/The Palmerie Family Funeral Home, 122 Waterbury Road, Prospect, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30 at St. Anthony Church, 4 Union City Rd., Prospect, CT.  David will be laid to rest  following mass at Prospect Cemetery, 1 Union City Rd., Prospect, CT.
