They became high school sweethearts and shared more than 70 years together. In 1957, they began raising their family in Thompsonville, Connecticut. In 1965 they moved to Barkhamsted, Connecticut.
In the early 1960s, Dan embraced the Bible’s hope of a paradise earth. Dan and Dotty were baptized as Jehovah’s Witnesses on November 4, 1967. Dan began serving as an elder in the congregation in 1972 and continued serving as an elder until his passing.
Dan and Dotty raised their eight children to value Bible truth and serve Jehovah God.
