Beloved Husband, Father, and Grandfather
Daniel Collins, 65, of Waterbury, passed away on January 18, 2021 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born May 6, 1955 in St. Georges, Canada. He was the son of the late Eddy Collins and Lucy (Deziel) Collins. He worked as a carpenter and machine operator at H & T Waterbury for 27 years. He leaves behind his beloved wife France (Croteau) Collins, his loving daughter Jessica Galiatsatos, her husband Nick, and two precious grandchildren Madison Grace and Andrew Daniel, along with brothers Gilles (Rejeanne), Alan (Marina), Pierre (Susan), Serge (Suzanne), Bobby, Sister Johanne, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Daniel enjoyed playing hockey and was a passionate Montreal Canadiens Fan! He loved vintage cars and car shows. He was known by his family as “MacGyver” as he was able to fix anything with his creative mind. But most importantly, he was known for his uncanny ability to make everyone laugh.
