Cynthia S Davidson

Cynthia S. Davidson, 64, of Waterbury, passed away February 29, 2024. She was born December 25, 1959 to Troy and Harriette Sherffield. She is predeceased by her brother Troy David Sherffield, Jr..

Cynthia was a gentle, caring, loving spirit. She always helped everybody who was in need of help. She worked in the Waterbury School System for many years where she helped kids read and later did clerical work for the Waterbury Fire Marshal’s office. In her earlier years she worked for Dr. Seuss and was a personal assistant to celebrities. She loved cats, making cheesecakes, and gardening plants and flowers. She enjoyed her time traveling overseas and making precious memories at vacation spots like Disney with her daughters.

Cynthia leaves behind to cherish her memory: her husband of 32 wonderful years, Eric Davidson and their two children: Tory and Tahliah Davidson. She is also survived by her parents, her brother Theodore James Byers, her sister Theresa D.S Heyward, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to calling hours for Cynthia on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 from 10-11am at Prospect Memorial Funeral Home/The Palmerie Family Funeral Home, 122 Waterbury Rd. Prospect, CT 06712. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 11am to 12pm. All services will promptly conclude at 1pm.
