Christine M Saunders

Christine M. Saunders, 55, of Prospect, passed away on January 7, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer. Chris was born July 31, 1968, a daughter to Elaine (Chubet) Dean and the late Henry Dean, Jr. She is also predeceased by Robert Saunders.

Chris was an avid gardener and enjoyed crafting and antiques. She also loved going to the beach, especially the beaches in Newport, RI. She loved traveling to the Bahamas where she liked to feed the fish.

Chris leaves behind her mother Elaine Dean and her 2 children Erin and Eva Predom, all of Prospect. She also leaves her brother Stephen Saunders of Grayson, GA, her ex-husband who cared for her during her illness Patrick Predom, her childhood best friend Georgette Richardson and her son Tanner Richardson.

Visitation will take place Thursday, January 18, 2024 from 4 to 7pm at Prospect Memorial Funeral Home, 122 Waterbury Rd., Prospect, CT 06712. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024 at 10 am at St. Anthony Church, 4 Union City Rd., Prospect, CT 06712. All those attending mass is asked to meet directly at church.
