Christina Loreen (Langley) Pucci

Mrs. Christina Loreen Pucci, 76, of Prospect, passed peacefully into eternal life on December 15, 2025, at St. Raphael’s Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on February 4, 1949, she was the cherished daughter of the late Robert W. and Margaret (Ritchie) Langley.

Christina’s first and greatest love was Jesus, and her deep, unwavering faith guided her throughout her life. She lived that faith daily with kindness, prayer, and a generous heart, and was never shy about sharing it with others.

Christina devoted many years of service to the Hamden Police Department, where she worked as a records clerk before retiring. She was known for her dedication, reliability, and warm personality, always ready with a smile or a perfectly timed bit of humor.

Her greatest earthly joys were her family and her beloved miniature schnauzer, Buddy, who was rarely far from her side. She found happiness in reading, listening to Christian music, and sharing laughter with those she loved. Christina had a wonderful sense of humor and a talent for bringing lightness and comfort into every room she entered.

She leaves behind her beloved husband, Frederick Pucci; her daughter, Jeanine Civitelli; her son, Joe Pucci, and his wife, Suzy, all of Prospect; and her treasured grandchildren, Dominic Civitelli, Nicholas Pucci, and Benjamin Pucci, who brought her endless pride and joy. She was predeceased by her parents and her sister, Linda Varga, whom she now rejoins in peace.

Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at Prospect Memorial Funeral Home on January 3, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., followed by a Celebration of Life service beginning at 11:00 a.m. The family encourages all who attend to come prepared to share smiles, memories, and gratitude for a life well lived and deeply loved.

Christina’s faith assures us that this is not goodbye, but “until we meet again.”
