Carmen Perucci, 70, of Waterbury, CT died peacefully on February 27th at St. Mary’s Hospital after a prolonged illness.
He was born in Waterbury, moved to Prospect, and subsequently resided in Waterbury until his death.
A devoted friend, he was loved and respected by everyone who came to know him.
Carmen was preceded in death by his parents Otello and Lillian Perucci, and both his sister Cynthia Perucci Anzalone and a twin brother Dominic Perucci. He is survived by two nephews and a niece.
After graduating from Sacred Heart High School, he attended Southern CT State University where he majored in political science.
After completing college, he was employed by several manufacturing companies as an industrial engineer.
He was a friend, confidant, and mentor to the many people with whom he came in contact.
Carmen was an individual of high integrity. He was an avid reader, hiker, traveler and remained interested in national politics and social issues his entire life.
His interest in international cuisine was a source of many interesting and fun-filled evenings.
He was a selfless person whose passing leaves a void in the hearts of the friends he leaves behind.
His ability to sacrifice, support, forgive, and love will be forever engrained in everyone who made his acquaintance.
