Carleen C. Kolpa, 80, passed away January 17, 2024. She was born August 7, 1943, a daughter to the late John and Winifred Kolpa.
Carleen was an extraordinary kind and generous woman, generous to everyone in every way. She was dedicated to protecting and serving her country. Carleen served as Captain in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam war and was employed by the U.S. Navy in Washington, DC for the remainder of her professional career.
Carleen leaves behind her sister Carol-Jean Ciriello and husband Alphonse of Prospect, her nephew Mark Ciriello and wife Kate of West Granby, and her great nephew Gavin Ciriello and great niece Charlotte Ciriello, and numerous cousins. She was predeceased by her parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Carleen on Friday, January 26, 2024 at 11 AM at Prospect Memorial Funeral Home, 122 Waterbury Rd., Prospect, CT 06712. Burial will immediately follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 669 Platt Rd, Watertown, CT 06795.
