Obituary

Barbara Marie (Deveau) Clement Kunkel Rodgerson, 89, formerly of Prospect died peacefully March 25, 2022 at Glendale Health Center.   Mrs. Rodgerson was born March 27, 1932 in Caribou Maine.  She was the daughter of the late Antoine Deveau  and Ada(Sands)(Deaveau)Conlon and the step daughter of the late Martin Conlin.

 Barbara was the widow of the late Dana Rodgerson, late Paul Kunkle and late Harry Clement.   She attended local schools and worked at Tech System for 28 years in Thomaston as well as Whyco in Thomaston, Naugatuck Glass, US Times and Us Rubber Co.  Barbara was a bass player for Dana and the Country Hornets Band.

She was predeceased by her husbands Dana Rodgerson, Harry Clement and Paul Kunkle as well as two sons Harry Clement and Paul Kunkle as well as sisters Gertrude Blake and Rena Tierney and brother Guy Deveau.

Barbara is survived by a sister Darlene Klemanoski and brother Ralph Deveau.  Barbara’s surviving children are Donna Clement Charette of Wolcott, Nancy Clement Caron of Maine, Colleen Clement White of Naugatuck, Kenneth Kunkle of Maine, Richard Kunkle of Jewitt City, Kirk Kunkle of Ca. and Donald Kunkel of Maine as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
