Arlene T. Morin, 73, of Prospect, passed away peacefully at her home on April 17, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family and in the devoted care of her beloved husband, Jocelyn Morin.
Arlene was born on December 13, 1952, in New Brunswick, Canada, the daughter of the late Edgar Beaulieu and Marie Anne (Pelletier) Beaulieu. One of eleven children, she carried throughout her life a deep appreciation for family, connection, and togetherness. She was a graduate of Waterbury Catholic High School and went on to earn two associate degrees in finance.
Arlene dedicated many years of her professional life to Webster Bank, where she worked as a foreclosure and loss mitigation manager prior to her retirement. She was known for her strong work ethic, attention to detail, and compassionate approach to helping others through difficult circumstances.
A spirited, vivacious, and loving woman, Arlene embraced life with energy and enthusiasm. She was passionate about staying active and could often be found at the gym, rollerblading, spinning, or skiing. She also found great joy in baking, especially creating beautiful and delicious French pastries for her family and friends.
Arlene and her husband Jocelyn shared 47 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a loving home and raised their children, Stefanie and Steve. Family was at the heart of everything Arlene did, and some of her most cherished memories were summer vacations spent in Canada, where they enjoyed time on the family farm and by the lake.
Arlene leaves to cherish her love and memory her beloved husband Jocelyn Morin, daughter Stefanie Morin and her husband Tony of Terryville, her son Steve Morin of Colorado and her cherished grandchildren Maverick and Madaline. She also leaves her siblings Rina Martin, and Bernadette Martin, both of Wolcott, Murielle Beaulieu of Waterbury, Claudette Messineo (Joseph) of Litchfield, Claire Boucher of Thomaston, Marcel Beaulieu (Amy) of Bristol and Nancy Green of Wolcott. She also leaves Jocelyn’s siblings: Lise Morin- Quebec, Marcel Morin (Diane) - New Brunswick, Yvan Morin (Chantal)- Quebec, Luce Morin (Gilles) Quebec, Géraldine Morin- Quebec
Arlene is predeceased by: her brothers Gerard Beaulieu, Gaetan Beaulieu and sister Gaetane Poudrier
Arlene will be remembered for her warmth, her strength, and her unwavering love for her family. She leaves behind a legacy of devotion, kindness, and joyful living that will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Friends and family are invited to visit with Arlene’s family on Saturday, May 9,2026 from10am to 11:30 am at Prospect Memorial/ The Palmerie Family Funeral Home, 122 Waterbury Rd., Prospect. Funeral services will begin promptly at 11;30am.
