Anthony D. Petrafassi, Sr.

Anthony D. Petrafassi, Sr., 86, of Waterbury, passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at Autumn Lake Healthcare in Waterbury. He was the loving husband of June (Conrad) Petrafassi for 65 years. Anthony was born on February 7, 1936 in Waterbury to the late Joseph and Antoinette (Ciccarelli) Petrafassi. He worked for National Mail and also as a maintenance man at Naugatuck Valley Community College.

In addition to his wife June, Anthony is survived by his three children: Debra Diliberto and her spouse Paul of Naugatuck, Joseph Petrafassi and his spouse Rose of Prospect, Anthony Petrafassi, Jr. and his spouse Lesley of Waterbury; his brother Joseph Petrafassi and his spouse Cheryl of Thomaston; as well as eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Anthony is predeceased by his son Michael Petrafassi.

Anthony's family will be holding a memorial service at 11am on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at United Methodist Church, 250 Country Club Rd. in Waterbury.
