Mrs. Anna M. Logue, 65, of Prospect, the wife of Edward Logue, died Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at Autumn Lake Health Care and Rehabilitation Center in Waterbury. Anna was born on November 27, 1956, a daughter of the late Bronis and Isabella (Maclina) Vitkauskas.
Anna was a graduate of Wilby High School and a communicant of St. Michael Church in Waterbury. She was an accomplished seamstress and worked at Waterbury Garment for many years, as well as housekeeping at residences. Anna had a kind heart and a love for animals. She was a caregiver to all, especially her four-legged son Barney, who will miss her dearly.
In addition to her husband Ed, Anna leaves behind her daughter Sheri (Heaton) Love of Winsted, and her son Robert Heaton, Jr., all of Winsted; her grandson Jesse Boutin, Jr. of Harwinton; her sisters Mary Vitkauskas of Oakville, Cathy (Vitkauskas) Diehl and husband Michael of East Haven, and Betty Vitkauskas of New Smyrna Beach, FL; her brothers Allen Vitkauskas of Edgewater, FL, John Vitkauskas and Amy of Port Orange, FL; as well as several nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at St. Anthony Church, 4 Union City Rd., Prospect, followed by burial in Calvary Cemetery in Waterbury. Friends and family are invited to gather from 9-10am at Prospect Memorial / The Palmerie Family Funeral Home, 72 Waterbury Rd., Prospect, which is honored to be serving the Logue family.
